Prior to this Ph.D. research, Camilo\u00a0received his Bachelor degree in Industrial Design from the Los Andes\u00a0University in Bogot\u00e1 in the year 2004. He also obtained his Bachelor Degree in\u00a0Textile Design from the same university simultaneously. In the year 2007,\u00a0received his Master of Arts in Design degree from Domus Academy (the\u00a0University of Wales accredited school of design) in Milan awarded with\u00a0Distinction.<\/p>\n<p>Camilo began his professional career in Colombia back in 2001, where he\u00a0earned experience in the product design field developing several projects for\u00a0renowned local and international clients. After various years of work as aprofessional designer, he moved to Germany to attend at Hochschule Pforzheim\u00a0the MSc. Produktentwicklung (Product development) as a guest student and\u00a0learn the language. Subsequently, he transferred to Italy to complete his\u00a0Master studies. After his graduation, he started to share time being tutor at\u00a0Domus Academy, working as a product designer for Donegani &amp; Lauda studio\u00a0and Cammarata Gioielli studio both in Milan for some years. Camilo decided\u00a0to return to his hometown to become full-time professor and researcher at\u00a0his alma mater where is currently entitled Associate Professor in the design department.<\/p>\n<p>Together with his teaching activities, Camilo devotes his research to local\u00a0materials and products development, with several patents granted as well as\u00a0different academic contributions published.<\/p>\n<p>Explore the different projects related to circular design, as well as the different publications in journals and conferences.
